Our Studio Cottage

Our Studio Cottage

Back in December of 2019, we opened our very first brick and mortar shop on magical Tamborine Mountain.  At the time I was filled with hope and excitement at the journey ahead, a space of our own after sharing so much online, and at markets. Somewhere for people to come and feel embraced by a tangible creation of what we value and stand for.  Peace, tranquility, tactile experiences, a space to rest and restore.

It has now been almost four and a half years and we've been through a lot!  From Covid hitting literally six weeks after we opened that first day, to floods and bush fires, month long closures and finally the Christmas Day tornado where we were without power for almost three weeks.

Through it all, we've managed to grow our little business to heights I never would have imagined.  We have welcomed some absolutely darling people into our team and our community.

Now, with the move to being solely online for a while, and my own personal relocation with my husband and two children almost an hour away from the mountain, we want to take this opportunity to thank everyone that has shopped with us in store.  Thank you for all your kind words, your appreciation of the space.

We are truly so grateful to be able to move, to buy this beautiful piece of land on which our studio cottage has now been built and to continue on where we started, as an online shop.

We built the cottage from scratch, and used old materials where we could including some darling windows we saved from a house scheduled for demolition in Brisbane.
